Dragon Ball GT

I honestly don't get the hate. Sure it's worse than DBZ but not by much, and it suffers from many of the same problems its predecessor does. The premise of the show is one I can get behind: take the fun adventures of the original Dragon Ball and mix it with the epic action of DBZ, yet it suffered from flaws such as sidelining its own characters before they got introduced i.e Uub, and the villains were uninteresting (which again is similar to DBZ) save for the Shadow Dragons who were a neat idea.

It's okay I guess I mean Dragon Ball GT is better than no Dragon Ball at all.

largely stupid and misguided but there were elements within it that suggested a better outcome was possible

thought this was 100 the first time i watched it. and i bittersweet cried when it ended. i was like dbz is over lool. and now we have super, which is worse than gt cuz of the padding and retelling and dumb shit etc lool but better cuz it's real canon and keeps you more hopeful and YOU CAN CALL ME KAKAROT. but ye it does db and dbz stuff nice at times, mixes both too, and some new shit. fights so poorly written lol. kinda never wanna watch it again though lmao

Even hardcore fans of Dragon Ball need not watch this. Everything it doesn't straight-up rehash either is terrible or so weird that it clashes badly with the more Dragon Ball-esque adventure feeling.
