Decent fights, this is funnier in Japanese than I imagine it would be in English.

A lot better than the previous movie Battle of Gods. Frieza is still pretty cool, and reminded me of the good old DBZ days. Unfortunately, it feels very rushed, but it's hard to cramp in a 100 episode long fight scene, like they usually do in DBZ, into one movie. And, oh god, the music is so bad.

I had so much nostalgia for dragonball, almost anything would have satisfied me. But it just gave me a bad feeling. It was caused by things like characters getting weaker because they are too lazy despite the fate of the world depending on their strength time and time again. Android 18, who should be stronger than Frieza, is not fighting because she is a woman and has to take care of a child while her much weaker husband Krillin... ah it annoys me to even write about it. It's worse than bad.

At least the last Dragon Ball Z film introduced a new villain. This doesn't even rise to that very low mark. It's amazing how much less interesting it is to see Goku fight Frieza all these years later when the first time they fought it has been forever burned into my memory.

Very good animation and visuals. But everything else is lazy and cheap.

Enjoyable but nothing really special. This is about as good as a fight between Goku and Frieza as we'll ever get. I hope the next film leaves the old villains behind and brings out new and interesting ones.

The DBZ saga continues with the wanking of a villain I honestly never thought was all that great in the first place. Pretty much the same deal as the last movie, can be enjoyable but overall nothing impressive.

I know, I know. It's another lame "the old villain is back!" story, but... hey, it works! Sorta!

dont like how frieza unrealistically became WAY too powerful WAY too quickly. and logically he woulda needed to do training before the frieza saga. otherwise they just made frieza even more of an anomaly than goku. if frieza's race is really that crazy that could be addressed in super to make me feel better but also his character is too powerful/useful now to just be forgotten. and too stupid how he probably coulda trained one more week and won. and VEGETA SHOULDA KILLED HIM. was70beforesuperlol

This simple Goku vs. Frieza nostalgia-kick basically gave me what I hoped for from it; nothing more, nothing less. I'd never recommend it for anyone who isn't already a DBZ-head. It would be dumbass nonsense. But if you have fond childhood memories of the Frieza saga, sure, why not?

I'm scared to re-watch older Dragon Ball Z without my nostalgia goggles as this was seriously dumb. Even the fight and time turn back was absolute bullshit. Just lame.

I was "too old" when Dragon Ball started airing over here so I never got into the series. There is a lot of nostalgia in this one with returning characters and resurrection of evil Freeza. A way to get acquainted with them, but more is lost on me as far as references goes. I did enjoy this fairly well. Tons of blazing action and comedy suited for anyone loving Japanese animation. So a much more positive experience then I was expecting. Will be a better one if you actually grew up with them.

While 'Resurrection F' is admittedly fun at times for fans of the Dragon Ball franchise, it's transparent as another case of milking the cash cow. The return of the infamous Freeza and the events revolving around it make little sense (even by Dragon Ball standards); couple that with the gaudy CG effects and stagnant character representation and you've got a film that operates only to further tarnish the tired series.
