When it comes to movies with Mädchen Amick in them, I find it hard (I mean, ahem, difficult) to dish out less than a score of 55. Luckily, this thriller, generic though it is, deserves exactly that rating.

Every single star is for Mädchen. 90s erotic thrillers were insane, every character actor getting their chance to be on a screen that'll show boobies. James Spader is one of the weirdest erotic thriller stars, just totally bizarre and fascinating. Probably why Mädchen flopped her robe off immediately - I need to see what this alien man does next. I should probably be concerned that this reminds me of a previous relationship... But to echo other sentiments, I loved the ending, and Mädchen Amick is gorgeous.

Is there any greater words in the English language than "James Spader Erotic Thriller"? Shame about the actual film, though.

Not a very good film, but it has some pretty hot scenes and an ending I never expected.

Took me 3 episodes of twin peaks to find this gem;)....definitely some Lynch inspiration and a husband/wife dynamic that is easy to identify within cinema.

Great ending, but not an amazing film. I can say that I did like it, but it would not be the first film I would recommend in almost any circumstance-unless I was in a conversation about filming sex scenes.

Sluggish neo-noir boasting a truly whackadoo ending and not much else. The film sometimes seems to mistake Spader's fairly repellent protagonist for the innocent he thinks he is.
