Driven

I think it's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is I don't like here. I was entertained, but the whole thing just looks and feels a bit too much like a masquerade rather than the actual 1980s.

A really bizarre tone throughout, but I was molekyler entertained by this.

Driven isn't that insightful but at least it's entertaining...mostly. The entire cast is excellent; Pace rarely disappoints, but it's Sudeikis' ability to pull off charming doofus that makes the film work. The film leans into the absurdity and humour of the situation to its advantage. The chaotic narrative, and grim fashion sense of the 70's, is susceptible to a few moments that drag down the film's high-energy pace.

Sudeikis and Pace deliver great performances here. The film is both funny and entertaining and mildly suspenseful.
