Dry and Thirsty (1920) Short Film
Horace Radish wants a drink, but Prohibition is in force. When all his other schemes fail, he heads to the Bootlegger's Haven Hotel with high hopes. But waiting at the hotel is the tough lawman William Allways Tryan, who is ready to toss in jail anyone found with even a drop of liquor. (imdb)

Billy Bletcher is a funny little man, but he really is best as a voice actor and not so much as a lead slapstick guy. This comedy short is a series of dreamy Prohibition scenarios. Trying to be a cleaver comedy, it misses most of it's puns and tries to get most of it's laughs with some of the lamest recycled gags available. Got it's moments, but mostly not....
