Film adaptations of cartoons rarely work because of the obvious problems of transference. i.e. converting short form to long form and cartoon logic into the 'real world' or something vaguely resembling it. Dudley Do-Right was a very limited cartoon to begin with, a repetitive feature staple of a much broader show, so it was a bad idea to base a film on it. Fraser and Molina are appropriately cast and make the most of an impossible situation, but it is dead in the water after 10 minutes.

I made it to 30 minutes. A valiant effort. But the movie is so insultingly stupid and boring that only a masochist could suffer through this. A true testament to the god-awfulness of this movie is that this is the 3rd movie I ever tapped out on. Fraser is a peach but he had better chemistry with the Horse than the romantic lead. SJP looked like she was having a miserable time. Can't blame her.
