Dynamite Dan (1924)
Dan (Kenneth MacDonald) knocks out the foreman (Boris Karloff) at his workplace so the foreman accuses him of stealing money from the company safe. Dan takes off to visit his girlfriend when they're attacked by a man who Dan eventually knocks out with a single punch. A boxing manager see this and signs him up. (imdb)

A thoroughly lightweight comedy/adventure picture starring a bevy of very new actors, a distressing number of whom never appeared in another comedy again. You do get to see Boris Karloff hamming things up in one of his first couple roles, though.

Dynamite Dan does have Boris Karloff in an early role. Plus boxing, including a gym full of girls training! But as a movie, this is poorly put together and one that I never really got into it.
