A visually accomplished, deeply personal essay film from Pinto about one year in his battle with HIV. While he begins this lengthy film focused on his condition, we begin to see echoes of the struggle against sickness in he and his husband's care for their land, as well as in news reports of financial meltdowns in other countries. All of this is woven together exquisitely, even as the film careens toward its end and Pinto struggles to keep his body working and his mind sharp.
