His obnoxious political takes aside, I find him tolerable. His takedown of Netflix Death Note and Deadpool has some solid points, but his views are overly centered on narrative cohesion rather than other elements that make for good films such as cinematography or conveyance of themes. Then there are times where his approach to certain films such as Fury Road makes no sense whatsoever. Despite this I don't think his points on storytelling are completely invalid so I don't think he's utter trash.
