Earth and Blood

Moody and downbeat action movie that brings together quite a few clichés into a single package and does very little with them. The title seems to suggest some thematic gravity that is entirely absent from the actual film. Its greatest virtue is its brevity.

Again Leclerq delivers a tight well directed little action movie. The first 40 minutes are used to set up the characters in broad strokes, just enough that is needed to make the plot work. The last 40 minutes is non-stop down to earth action.
