Educação Sentimental

In an era of lost sensibilities and pragmatism, in which the obscene means eroticism and knowledge and poetry remain unpreserved by memory, Bressane dares to shoot a film about writers that died young, forgotten wisdom and the intellectual property written by Áurea that never saw the light of the day. The film itself looks granulated -- and inventive as shown in the making of montage in the last minutes --, as if the director is trying to emulate a cinema trapped in a time and a place.
