Look who's here! Future Hollywood leading man Paul Lukas! Without his moustache and all babyfaced doing his last film in native Hungary before turning up in American films 4 years later! It's a nice little movie where not so talked about European director Géza von Bolváry shows he deserves more respect for his vision. Here he uses dream sequences and a lot of cute childrens moments to get a warm feeling to this dilemma of motherly love. The portion where the children are young is really sweet.
