A simple small story lead by very old, but stunningly acting Don Ángel Tavira. Everything is connected to the violin: his extra pennies for living, guerrilla movement and a connection to the tyrannical regime which is making living a hell.

Wonderful black-and-white shots, great last 30 minutes of the story are, unfortunately, not enough to compensate dullness, poor script and weird propaganda feeling of the first hour.
