The absurdity amused me but it's too simplistic and heavy handed to be great.

well, i saw the conclusion coming from a mile away. but it's okay, i hate 'jobs' too. basically a comment on the shittiness of a hierarchical system.

Entertaining, creative, and interesting. The control of the soundtrack and the conclusion are the best parts. I like that it's able to work in multiple languages and in only 5 minutes.

The bozos in the audience laughing loudly at every single turn kinda spoiled the experience for me, but still, a very good short. Please, people, refrain from laughing at, pointing at and freaking verbalizing everything you see onscreen. Don't be the Captain Obvious of the movie theater, thank you.

Simple and clever short about the crappiness of a system based on crappy jobs.

Stunningly animated in 3D with 2D output. The funny and ingenious story reminded the life of the ex Soviet Union times: everybody's got work. Everybody. And you'll get nothing without bribe. Actually money talked there, just like in Western system. No difference.

Perhaps some subtlety would have gone a long way, but El Empleo is still a memorable and entertaining short film.

Asansördeki makara sistemi çalışan sınıfın koşullarının ağırlığı = patronun yaşam koşulu ve sonunda iş koşullarında ve yaşamda insanın varlığının hiç'e sayılması paspas olması, kapitalist sistem getirisi.

By looking at the idea of immense division of labour and the accompanying mechanization which create a gap filled by the absurdness of uneployment and feeling of unworthy, the director shows that process "literally", which seems to be a cheap trick for me.

It's hard not to appreciate its dark humor, on the one hand. On the other, when a film has only one minuscule, simplistic thing to say, and continually repeats it over six minutes with entirely predictable variations, it doesn't end up feeling short at all.
