I'm just happy to see Buster Keaton in a rare lead role in a feature film again. Doesn't matter if he had to go to Mexico to do one. It's much better than his last one a decade earlier, the abysmal The Invader (1936), which he had to go to the UK to do. This film is all over the place, but then there are those zen moments where Buster could just relax and be funny. Simple down-to-earth interactions with his fellow comedian from a different culture. I felt those bits worked real nice.
