Electricity

The film is shot decently well and Ms Deyn is at least a pretty face on screen. That's enough to secure a basic level of watchability. But the story holds up poorly. It's hard to care about or understand any of the characters, and too much narrative licence is used to gloss over details like distances, timings, costs. This kills the realism, which is sad as this could have been an affectingly realistic portrayal of an epileptic's life - the one unique and captivating aspect of the film.

A powerful piece of film making with a strong central performance. The special effects used to tell the story through the protagonists eyes, are done well and add depth and interest.
