Emerald City

I wish it was better because this is a reasonably ballsy and perceptive look at the Australian film industry, when it was just starting to embrace commercialism. And the script shows plenty of promise throughout, but it's in dire need of a re-write -- it's as if there was only a first draft! Some of the moments, of characters revealing their caricatures by bouncing off each other, are embarrassingly shoddy and only think they're clever. A bit of a missed opportunity.
