Escape Me Never

I find it hard to figure out why Flynn chose to appear in this movie, he was probably drunk, usually was anyway.

The original from 1935 wasn't that great, so wasn't surprising that the remake wasn't that remarkable either. It's a story thing. Goes all over the place and one struggle to get the feel of the events. But one thing that makes it better was Ida Lupino's performance, which is a little daunting when you realize that Elisabeth Bergner got a Oscar nomination for her role in the '35 film and Lupino didn't even get second look from the Academy for this one.
