Escape Rooms obvious main pitch is to jump-start a franchise that takes the ingenuity of Saw's death traps and last minute twist while stripping away gratuitous torment and gore to a crowd, and investor, pleasing PG-13. And if they can maintain the level of energy and imagination in successive films, without falling to a need to get overly intricate in plot, twists, or traps (unlikely, but still, we'll see), I could totally sit through and enjoy about two more of these before I got bored

Even if it is a topic... not the best movie ever but I found it enjoyable if you like that kind of games of the dead films.

The characters were just personifications of a single character trait. The girl who was quiet, that was her whole character! The jack-ass never did or said anything off point! It was like watching a woman give birth to a bowling ball. Hey that's another "Birthday" film for the producers! Also please re-hire Taylor Russell. It was so obvious she blew someone for the role! But Escape Room doesn't count as a real role. They still owe her a role to ruin with her own lack of skill!
