John Redmond is a "long-haired" youngster who belongs to a wealthy family. But due to the fact that he likes very much to live an extravagant life amidst bad company, he spoils his life. A victim of a dirty trick by one of his supposed friends, he goes to prison for a crime he never committed. It will be there, thanks to the prison's clergyman, that Herr Redmond finally is able to get back his well-mannered life. (imdb)

A very dignified role for Valdemar Psilander as the former convict-turned-priest who fights the thugs of his place of preaching to clear the path for his believers. One soul comes to visit him and Psilander tells him of his past, how he lived a reckless life and ended up in jail before finding God. This is hardly a spectacular movie from director Holger-Madsen. Slow and preachy. But it's elegantly filmed and the acting is respectable. Especially from Psilander who carries this film impressively.
