The end of Marion Davies. What's positive is that Davies gets to end her career doing what she does best. Comedy. In Ever Since Eve (1937) she gets to be as silly as she likes and that's when she's utilizing her skills the most. With aided laughs from Patsy Kelly, Allen Jenkins, Frank McHugh & Louise Fazenda, this turns into a enjoyable farce. Never among the greatest comedies ever made, but at least Davies gets to shine a little before the curtains were pulled on her career.
