The premise was clever but felt gimmicky. I enjoyed it a more than I probably should have. Many extra points for the mesmerizing Angourie Rice. The crazy plot was interesting and engaging. Good cast. Excellent production quality and music. OK dialog. The love story development was weak. The ending was only somewhat satisfying. I think they could have done a lot more with the story, and added more humor. Though it was silly, I hope they make an Every Day 2 to take it farther and continue the fun.

The core of the film is a love story involving a poorly explained phenomenon. Such little explaination is given that the concept feels like a gimmick and this person without a body never seems to have it's character developed enough for the love story to excel. Just another YA novel that crapped the bed at its inception, adapted for teens who don't demand well designed stories in their literature.

I don't mind the weird and the "out of the box thinking", but it seemed like something was missing. Not quite sure what the ultimate message was. Love obviously... But what more? *Okay

Original concept and beautiful love story. Good soundtrack as well.

Sweet and lovely film let down by a catastrophically terrible ending. One suspects an imposed rewrite, as the ending is completely out of keeping with the main body of the film.

Honestly, not bad! The premise has some Groundhog Day-ian promise, but it veers off in some pretty dumb directions and has issues with believability in its presentation. In the end the family story is more interesting than the main plot, mainly because it actually feels grounded in reality, but it gets way too little focus and virtually no conclusion. Angourie Rice does a solid job, more to come I'm sure.

It's little more than its high concept. It's at least a somewhat interesting concept, for what it's worth.

This film does a great job at personifying the concept of gender and sexuality fluidity while solidifying the simple idea of soul mates all while portraying a compelling story with characters that audiences can connect with and find impressive when it comes to casting choice. That being said, it had some difficulty finding an endpoint, a finality that would differ from the rest of the film, and that unfortunately doesn't mix well with the rest of the films message. Overall pretty good romance.

Bittersweet film. More sweet than bitter but finding yourself while learning to love with purity aren't easy lessons.

rvw. the concept and philosophical stuff was enough to make up for its sometimes bad/meh/childish tones and writing
