Every Secret Thing

Unique crime thriller.

This is a whodunnit with unreliable narrators. It never gets interesting enough, the social criticism is weak and the ending is pointless and bad. It's the kinda movie you might watch to the end if you stumble upon it on tv, only to forget all about it as soon as the credits roll.

This unnerving mystery doesn't coddle audiences by giving them much to root for. Maybe that's why reviews for the film have been mixed to worse. I say give this toxic valentine to motherhood a chance.

A creepy movie about creepy people. Relatively generic crime drama with predictable story beats, but that doesn't mean it isn't moderately entertaining.
