Del toro's humor keeps the movie entertaining. Walken is always good.

A rather silly flick made much better, and generally good basic fun movie, because of the usually damn fine fine acting by Del Toro.

Much better and more entertaining than it has a right to be. Silverstone is adorable, and the scenes with Del Toro and Walken are really something.

If not for the unashamedly ridiculous plot & the highly self-aware performances of Silverstone, Walken, & Del Toro, this would be a massive dud. But, somehow, it manages to pull together just enough cheese & charm to be enjoyable for what it is, & what it is is a very late-90's comedy that can't be taken seriously at all. The romance is pretty forced and unnecessary, & there's some dated dialogue, but all-in-all, it's not awful and might be worth a look if the premise seems interesting.

Silly but adorable.

There are so many things that just don't sit right in this picture. Alicia is maybe too cute, the male lead grows on you, and Christopher is such a heavy--one wonders what the hell he's doing in this picture. Rarely sencical, and uneven. The action scenes are okay.

Barf! Why is she always playing a spoiled ass? ::yawn:: If you've seen her acting once, you've seen it all.
