Below average newspaper movie. Fired reporter and part-time drunk Walter Byron gets hired to help a struggling newspaper owned by Lila Lee, who is trying to continue her fathers legacy. Their rival paper is run by aging Tully Marshall and the heat is on! Well, barely any of that heat makes it on screen and it becomes a terribly dull affair as the main story becomes Byron turning into a lovesick puppy falling in love with Lee who rejects him because she's afraid he's start drinking again.
