Lots of gun fire and death but the action isn't that well done. The story is the same oft told story of a new recruit to an elite team that has second thoughts about the team and what they stand for. Its not bad but its really mediocre and forgettable.

It's a surprisingly relevant film to the growing police state in America and national apathy to it, but it's also really hammy and the performances aren't fantastic. Still, Yaphet Kotto dressed up as a cowboy in modern day LA is worth any price of admission.
