Subverts your expectations by doing the twist you expected and then going back to not doing that twist. It was okay.

This is one of the most tone-deaf messes that I've ever seen. The production value is pretty good, the acting is shockingly good- particularly from lead Dana Christina- and the premise offers a lot of promise. But, none of that matters when the story is as terrible as it is. Reckless use of logic, awful pacing, subplots that amount to nothing, flat characters, dumb final twist, & so many half-baked messages that none of them resonate. If you want a good modern haunted house movie, watch Haunt.
