Unbelievably horrible and offensive to anyone who lived in and loved this era, only worth a watch to see how much the filmmakers piss on poor Andy Warhol's grave - who here is portrayed as the most evil creature alive, an effeminate, pasty vampire who treats women like dirt. Edie Sedgwick's tragic life is treated like a particularly awful after school special and its embarrassing for all involved (especially Sienna Miller who gives a truly terrible and self conscious performance).

Really spectacular performances fail to bring this movie charm. "Better to be vulgar than boring," says the movie, without following its own advice.

Totally stupid, makes Bob Dylan look like a very straight douchebag and Edie is acted out pretty horridly by Sienna Miller, who makes her look like a stupid whiny bitch. Still, I couldn't get my eyes of it.

Seinna Miller is completely off the hook, gorgeous and very talented. The movie is not easy to understand what happened to her in reality. I was mesmerized to the end, but I walked away without really understanding her life. Watch it for Sienna, and try to ignore the rest. Hayden Christensen was especially lousy. Andy Warhohl comes off as a despicable person and total creep.

Pretty lousy, but worth seeing for the period recreation (if you're into it) and Pearce's awesome portrayal of Warhol.

Yeeeaaaah....I don't think this is exactly...accurate. Pierce and Miller are amazing, but Hayden Christensen can suck my balls, that asshole pisses me off whenever i see him, and to be portraying Bob Dylan! terrible. Jimmy Fallon should not be given any sort of dramatic roles. Overall though the film was pretty interesting despite its predictability. I wanna see Sienna Miller in more things, she is a star. and again guy Pierce is amazing.

Great acting, bad script.

Played a little too fast and loose with the truth for my taste. I was expecting something eye-opening and wonderful, but instead was treated to a parade of young actors who wanted to play dress-up. Sienna Miller and Guy Pearce did well as their characters, however, and I'm glad they didn't have the rights to call Bob Dylan by name.

This movie is not my scene. It doesn't seem like the life of Edie Sedgwick is interesting enough to make a movie. Guy Pearce does give a good performance as Andy Warhol.

"A spectacle of bad accidents, VH1 aesthetics, sketchy (almost nonexistent) period detail, and armchair psychology." - Ed Gonzalez

Especially Sienna Miller & Guy Pearce are awesome and the film gives you 'the mood' succesfully, but on the other hand narratively it fails.

There was plenty of good acting, but the story never touched me anyhow. I've seen this flick before and I did not remember anything about it. Complete blank.

For a movie about the tumultuous friendships among artists, musicians, and filmmakers during one of the 20th century's periods of creative ferment, Factory Girl is remarkably incurious about cinema, music, and art.

Guy Pearce does a decent job portraying Andy Warhol's evil doppelganger.

I'm sorry, but Sienna Miller is really annoying. I've also heard a lot about this movie being pretty inaccurate, which bugs me.

Miller is incredible (and hot), and Pearce has one of his best performances, but the film still has more problems than the real Edie had in real life

Miserable. I hope that whomever cast Hayden Christensen as the faux-Bob Dylan is no longer working. Sedgwick is supposed to the "it girl" of this time, but the movie left me thinking, "Uhhh, why?" The director never bothers to give a reason as to why people fawned over her, and so what am I left to do as a viewer, except to just not care?
