Fall Time

Nothing special to see here. It's slow moving and rather uninteresting, with some serious work to the script it had potential to be good; but this fault combined with the miserable score make it almost painful to watch.

Mickey Rourke acts cool as usual in the middle of a terrible, boring film with awful pacing.

I'm all about an indie crime drama, but Fall Time fails to deliver in a big way. This seemingly forgotten Sundance entry is an absolute mess in its attempts to make waves with deeper meanings. The symptoms are most evident in Rourke's ramblings that narrate the supposed inner monologues of each of the male characters. Unfortunately, not only is the dialogue bad, but the script has its characters make choices that are absolutely ludicrous.
