One instance of the awfully rendered tunnels was enough. To hold the climax in their weirdly lit, cartoonish depths was a huge mistake. The rest of the racing, from the opening gas heist, is slick and stylish. The story is forgettable, especially since its impetus, Michelle Rodriguez just . . . dying off screen, I guess?, never really had an impact.

This wasn't that good. Basically they are trying to bust a drug Cartel here. They kill Vin Diesel's Girlfriend in this movie as well. So Vin is also here to kill that Cartel member who killed his girlfriend. Gal Gadot is in this movie to be the new girlfriend of Vin. Vin helps the feds he is to go free. That doesn't happen as they sentence him to 25 years in prison. At the end of this movie you see the cars who is led by walker and his sis try to bust him out.

Unfortunately, this is caught in-between its car race roots and the action series it would become. The cars have started to look better, as they no longer have the ugly decals of the originals. The film also drops "the" from the title, because it is too fast and too furious to spend its time on useless words.
