Female Fight Club

A grizzled man with no regrets sits in prison for the murder of several men. The man is Holt (Dolph Lundgren), and he is innocent of the murders but he was happy to take the blame for the crime that his daughter Rebecca (Amy Johnston) committed. Rebecca is former UFCtype fighter who has tried to restart her life as veterinarian assistant but Bex the Beast returns with vengeance to clear her friend's tab into fight circuit when friend of hers is neckdeep in debt to an underground fight promoter

Not bad for a low budget fight movie. The are well choreographed but not well filmed. Amy Johnston does alright with her role but doesn't have much screen presence which would usually regulate her to a secondary role in any other film. Dolph Lundgren as usual is the highlight but he's really underused. It's a very basic movie that seems to strive for watchable entertainment and nothing more. Maybe if this had a better director this could've been a star making role for Amy Johnston but who knows.
