Its sexist conclusion hampers all of the fun that came before.

Poor is the development of Chatterton's character, who's man-eating antics change for the submissive attitude of a housewife because she finds the right man. However, there's something I find pleasing in the lavish set designs and costumes in films from this era.

Apart from the ridiculous old school mentality of women, I just found this boring for a romance comedy. Didn't get the love for Ruth Chatterton as the predator boss of the company and I didn't sense what made George Brent as the man she'd change for. I guess the continuous change of director during production might have been a contributing part for this story feeling kinda lost....
