Wasn't Ginger Rogers a bit of a downer here? I've certainly seen ladies do better in this type of 'poor girl invades a rich home' style comedy. Walter Connolly on the other hand was very pleasant as the head of the family. Sadly they pay-off with the secondary characters was very half-assed. There are sweet moments, but the big blow-off was lacking.
