Unlike most slashers, the killings don't really start until halfway in, but very much like most slashers, it sucks. Who is the killer? Why is he killing? What happened to that pervy professor? Final Exam has no time for such questions.

A pretty interesting slasher that opens with a jaw dropper of a scene for our current climate and then spends a boatload of runtime on actual character development. Almost staggeringly bold for this genre. Once the killing starts it's okay but then the villain catches an arrow out of the air and it's just exactly what it should be.

The most shocking thing ( to me) It depicted school shootings even though it was a prank Before it became a well known thing Movie itself pretty boring and not very good

Boring and bad, nothing gets explained. Has slasher super hero syndrome: super powered, unkillable killer, who just happens to know where everyone is (super sense). Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but not a good one either.

Interestingly, this early 80's independent carpetbagger-cash-in slasher spends a lot less time on the traditional "slasher" suspense/thriller/horror elements, but instead more time on the characters in this cheap "Animal House"(1978) style college-comedy. Although, it may have been for the better, as the movie's random psychopath is an over powered bore. While the movie may best be remembered now for its poorly aged "mass shooting" prank, the real tragic star of the film was the nerd, "Radish".

I actually really liked this movie. There are quite a few eerie moments throughout the film and while there is a lot of time before any of the killing starts the story is decently entertaining and there is a sense of tension sprinkled throughout the movie. The characters were varied and some were even likeable. This movie borrows heavily from Halloween from certain shots to the music, to the silhouette of the killer appearing in the background of many scenes. The fact that the killer has no ...

Not among the best of it's genre, but I'm still glad I gave it a spin. There's something quite charming about how it almost forgets that it's a slasher and focuses more on the characters instead. Especially Radish who almost seems as a proto for Randy in Scream. It returns to horror for the last 30 mins, but it's never really that scary or gory. There are also some similarities with Halloween H20 - maybe due to setting. Anyway, worth a watch if you've seen all the "quality" slashers already.

A simple, by-the-numbers slasher with characters who aren't very interesting, a story that's not very complex, and a familiar setting, it's nothing new or special even for its time- but that doesn't mean it's bad. There's certainly some fun to be had, with a few gags & lines that lean towards self-aware comedy & a quick pace that keeps things engaging. A few of the deaths are creative, the ending is somewhat unexpected, & it never takes itself too seriously. Overall, it's worth a look.

A movie that's just so in my wheelhouse it's almost unbelievable. Love slashers especially those based around high school/colleges. Actually decent developed characters. It's like animal house or any of those raunchy 80's comedies but you get to see those d-bags get their comeuppance. Great visuals on the kills particularly the one set in the gym and as the scoreboard goes to zero the one dude gets killed. Fuckin classic. Tropes on tropes but I love that kinda stuff.

One of the first generation of post-Halloween knockoff slashers, and one of the worst I’ve seen. I like the more patient and methodical pacing of older films, but god DAMN. Basically an hour of this 90 minute movie after the opening kills is the slowest, most boring college… comedy? Dramedy? I’ve seen in some time, then the killing section is just third act of Halloween run through a xerox machine a bunch of times. Micro thumbs up for the novelty of nerd male lead in an 80s film.

I typically take awhile to choose a movie. Today I chose this at random on my shudder subscription. The rating is very low because it's a brutally bad movie, but it does have some campy b movie charm in parts. Overall it's just way more boring than a slasher should be and the acting is some of the worst in the history of film. The killer is the most generic killer I've ever seen. Hilariously so. It still beats some other turds on my list, but just slightly. The score; however, is fantastic. 3.1
