Imagine if you will... Justin Bateman "adopting" a pancake-loving 5-year-old girl who has just lost her parents to psycho killers (qu'est-ce que c'est) and then spending the next 13 years "training" her to be the second worst assassin in southern Oregon. Sounds like the making of a Netflix exclusive, you say? Fa fa fa faaa, fa fa fa fa faa faa.

A darker Barely Lethal, or Hanna, or any other type of "girl is trained from a young age to murder people" movie. It takes a long time to get to the point at which Breslin starts killing the boys, but it's relatively fun after that starts. The kills aren't the most interesting, but there's a bit of fun to be had here.

A bad remake of a Buffy episode.

What a waste. What a waste of childstars (Bright, Breslin, Ludwig) who I though could possibly have a succesful future ahead of them. After watching Final Girl I somehow doubt that....Eventhough it is probably everything else that makes this movie so bad. 18/100.

The premise and start were rather good. The only negative of the film is that once the confrontation between the Final Girl and the boys started, it was over much too quickly. I would have liked to see it drawn out more, not see her nearly lose, but just play with them more than she did. It just seemed like the boys were all taken out pretty quickly.

Plot has so many holes and is pretty forgettable... though it's nicely shot

This film is really weird with a terrible script. Abigail Breslin tries her best but the material is to weak here. Overall this film is bad.

Dialog written by an idiot. Directed & produced by morons. A cast of fools for ever getting involved in this waste of time, money & effort. Almost nothing could be considered a redeeming quality in this abysmal failure that manages to disappoint at every opportunity. Except for one pretty girl (Abigail Breslin) it has nothing whatsoever to offer. Wes Bentley's character was asinine, as were the other male roles. I hope I never see another Adam Prince written, Tyler Shields directed production.

I liked the way this movie was filmed, because I like some of Shields' photography - and it's just that. His photography, just on film and wrapped in a weird story that was full of plotholes. The characters were flat and uninteresting, but I had a feeling like the writer wanted them to be so. Anyways, it was pretty to look at but nothing more than that.

When i run out of tv shows and good movies i turn to movies like this. Since my expectations were so low I was kind of pleasantly suprised. It's very cheesy but it's just good enough to make it worthwhile to watch.

Final Girl (2015) is the type of film which can be okay if you're in the mood for it. Trained killer and Veronica Lake wannabe against a group of rapeboys in the wood. Perfectly watchable, but lacks a little bit of everything.

Wants to be a movie fan movie; the sort of movie that makes people go "Imagine a slasher-movie 'La Femme Nikita' filtered through Joss Whedon and David Lynch" or whatever. Trouble is, apart from the obvious influences it has to bring something of its own to the table, and when you scratch the overstylized overacting surface it just feels a bit flat.

The premise doesn't hold up under any scrutiny, and if you think about the relationship between Bentley & Breslin's characters for more than a second it gets really creepy. The boys are all one dimensional sociopaths, which I guess works, but there's just nothing that makes any of the characters pop. It's got some cool looking shots in it and it's watchable, but not anything to rush out and see.

With semi-improv dialogue, retro soundtrack and occasionally painterly visuals it was clearly an attempt at Lynchian slasher but more Scream po-mo than genuine subversion. Director's clearly got a descent eye but this isn't really worth the time. [df]

Too simplistic. Extremely 'straight' with no twists, no outside factors influencing the story etc.

As a genre fan, this film does some neat things and has some very interesting visual shots, but the actually script is just flat and bad. Abigail Breslin does a decent job, and the character portrayed by Logan Huffman deserves to be in a better movie, like if Fallout came to the big screen.

Dumb, ugly, cheap-looking debut from a perpetually desperate hack photographer. Breslin is notably terrible, even handicapping for the dialogue. Rest assured, no more worthless film was made last decade. (I'll surely stir ye if I find one.)
