Finally, Lillian and Dan

I'm going to inject a voice of reason into all of this high praise. Is this a good movie? My answer: No, not really. It's meandering, undisciplined, improvised, and has very little to say that can't ultimately be reduced to cliches found in almost every modern-day, amateur attempt to re-appropriate Cassevetes' cinema-verite. Dull as dirt without any kind of pull. I was not convinced that these are real people in real situations.

The sheer concept that this film is essentially unreleased is just staggering to me. How is this not being hailed as the savior of American indie film?
