Finke: There & Back

Enjoyable overview of an apparently iconic bike race communicates the love of bike racing even to wowsers like this viewer; while little is done to explore the motivations of the competitors (and what keeps bringing them back even after disabling injuries), the race footage is beautifully shot and edited, and noted enthusiast Bana's grounded yet enthusiastic narration makes this a fun ride. Only sour note is the over-glorification of the "heroes" making the "ultimate sacrifice" for the sport.
