I wonder if Seagal picks his own wardrobe for the films. Some wicked jackets he wears in this one. Movie is really poorly made. Once again Seagal saves environment from evil corporate earth poisoners and finds happiness in inbred rednecks community.

This was the end of our beloved Steven. He hadn't got offensively fat nor did 90% of his performance consist of wearing sunglasses, sweating while sitting and mumbling with an interchangeable accent. I don't even mind the lecture, global warming is indeed unfortunate, as long as between talks he pokes out Tommy Lee Jones' eyes or brutally murders a cranked out William Forsythe with numerous kitchen utensils. This piece of shit had nothing. Pompous fat man, I just want to see you snap necks

For some reason we have a second environmentally themed arm breaking fest from Seagal. Somehow I am thinking his fan base is the wrong type of crowd to preach this subject to.

Hey, guys. Who remembers when this movie was set in Alaska, had better actors, and was called "On Deadly Ground?" Anybody? Oh, yeah. That was a fill-in-the-blank Seagal movie, too. I understand your confusion.

Fire Down Below is another stupid Steven Seagal film about pollution awareness and kicking the crap out of everyone. After the disastrous 'On Deadly Ground', I cannot believe WB funded this mess also. Only Steven Seagal can enjoy these films, he waffles on to the wrong audience about the environment and he showcases a dreadful wardrobe collection. But ultimately all Steven Seagal fans want is plenty of aikido sequences, broken limbs and violence. And this bore fest has very little to offer.

Horrible...but somehow watchable. Still, it's horrible. Don't watch it.

I keep expecting this movie to fall flat into boring but it doesn't. I love Steve, finally a hero who is soft spoken and good intentioned to the core, he preaches, and not about drugs or anything stupid but the environment! Laugh if you want, but he delivers fights, car chases, fires, and a message while being impossibly cool, untouchable, and deadly serious. Nothing new to a Steve fan, but better than his recent fare, i like him more sincere & less stupid.

Hatch: What the hell are you doing here? Jack Taggert: Well I was just out taking a Sunday stroll... but I guess maybe it's not Sunday.

Typical Steven Seagal tough guy movie totally lacking in credibility. He goes to a rural community to investigate corporate corruption, using a flimsy cover story. Seagal plays yet another soft talking bad ass who snatches up rattle snakes, fight better than everyone else and beats impossible odds. Music is mixed but mostly bad. Basically, just another unlikely one man army fighting against evil men in this movie that is implausible, predictable and tiresome.

Great Seagal environmentalist film, with less focus on gunplay than otehr films of this Seagal Era - which means more wrist snapping, more thumb-twisting, nose-breaking aikido fool!

The Glimmer Man, The Patriot and Fire Down Below was a very bad streak for Seagal that managed to turn guilty pleasures into pure waste of time. And they even had real supporting actors and a real budget.
