In the Spanish short film Fist of Jesus, when Jacob tells Jesus that his son, Lazarus, is dead, Jesus goes to his home to resurrect him. Only, this is the first time that Jesus has ever tried to bring back someone from the dead. You do not always get it right the first time. What follows is a gore-tastic nine minutes of Biblical splatter violence and comedy. Even our Lord and Savior goofs up once and a while. But he makes amends. Big time.

Starts out hilarious, and has some satisfying gore and practical effects, but the joke is stretched out way too far and becomes very repetitious. Hopefully they mix things up a bit for the feature.

Jesus does very little with his fists. In fact I don't think there was a single punch to the face. And that is saying something considering the sheer amount of violence done to faces in this short.

Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, sparking a zombie outbreak. The zombie thing has been pretty played out by this point, but this short is still quite funny with rapid fire Biblical references and novelty kills. The amount of gore and splatter is decidedly insane, not unlike Munoz's previous horror/comedy short Brutal Relax. If you liked that one, you'll find plenty to enjoy here.
