Flashbacks of a Fool

A very good film, which was very badly put together. Craig was great.

Great soundtrack. The Roxy scene is one of my favourite scenes post 2000.

Poor fellow...oh, the movie...nothing special!

A film that seems to go nowhere. Daniel Craig wastes his talent in this film that tries very hard to get you to feel any kind of emotional connection to its plot.

Stunning pictures and absolutely great music! Very emotional story and a Daniel Craig I'm sure you've never expected to see!

it definitely has its flaws, but the music and visual style make up for it

The beginning is intriguing, and the cast does what they can with the script. Most of the flashback relies on non-existent chemistry between two lovers, with little plot surrounding them. While the ending could’ve worked, the flashbacks did little to properly set it up. There’s also the mine scene, which is unintentionally over the top and funny in a bizarre dark humor sort of way, even though I’m positive that’s not at all what was intended.

The film seems very disjointed and although there a couple of moments when you feel the emotion of the characters, Daniel Craig doesn't inspire any empathy for his character.
