Flirtation

The setup was good and some of the comedy worked but the message of the film was way too heavy-handed and the ending was a letdown.

This is a odd little picture. Cheap, in a partly silent world and so so simple. But it pushed the right buttons for me. At least from a low budget perspective. All about a country boy and his dog coming to the big city and meeting a burlesque dancer. The dog runs away and has his own adventure and the boy.... ends up helping the girl when her mother is coming to town! Yeah, I know. Stupid ordinary plot. But it's oh so sweet!
