Staggeringly beautiful cinematography, a solid conceit, but goddamn what an awful script. The dialogue feels like it was gleaned from a high-schoolers creative writing assignment. I'm not sure even the best actors in the world could really sell those lines and this cast, well, it's their first or second major film project... Still, the ideas are great and the imagery ensures that this little amateur effort is intriguing enough to hold a viewer's attention. A better eco-horror than Annihilation!
