During World War II, all the studios put out "all-star" vehicles which featured virtually every star on the lot--often playing themselves--in musical numbers and comedy skits, and were meant as morale-boosters to both the troops overseas and the civilians at home. This was Universal Pictures' effort. It features everyone from Donald O'Connor to the Andrews Sisters to Orson Welles to W.C. Fields to George Raft to Marlene Dietrich, and dozens of other Universal players. (imdb)

Follow the Boys (1944) tries to do something similar to what Four Jills in a Jeep (1944), except with bigger stars and less charm. They invested in Marlene Dietrich, Jeanette MacDonald, W.C. Fields, The Andrews Sisters, Orson Welles among other vaudeville stars to cheer people up with a bunch of short skits or musical numbers, while George Raft & Vera Zorina tries to handle a flimsy story connecting them together. Plenty of fun in this one, but this is hardly the way you want to see these stars.
