Follow the Leader

A rare chance to see Ed Wynn's zany gig. Keep in mind this early talkie is more or less filmed like it was a stage performance, with room echo to boot (and minus the crowd laughter). Over the top acting, very basic scene set-ups and close to no editing needed keeping the acts long and economical. But if you can stand this type basic show with rapid-repetitive madness being spurted out of Wynn's mouth, then you are in for a treat. Oh, and Ginger Rogers is in this under all the noise!
