Foolproof

Ryan Reynolds heads cast in this perky Canadian crime caper about three friends who get a kick out of planning foolproof robberies that they never actually commit But their elaborate hobby puts them in predictable yet entertaining pickle when David Suchets ruthless gangster blackmails them into doing $20 million bond heist for real Verve replaces originality as derivative events unfold with good dialogue & fun performances compensating for uneven characterisation & increasing mass of plot holes.

I like the premise but production values, acting and most of the writing are TV quality at best.

Reynolds cements himself as mediocre actor (that has only recently found his niche) in a film that never supersedes the cheesiness of its premise, despite occasionally trying. Even with an utterly predictable plot, Foolproof does entertain with its silliness and Suchet's performance as the villain. The dialogue is cringeworthy though.

Good. A conventional heist movie with some rather predictable twists. Nothing amazing but not that bad either, Recommended.

Movie reasonable. The story is weak, it is hard to believe that this could really happen, and anyway, dont is original, although is not exactly a bad movie made.
