For Love or Money

Sweetly benign romantic comedy is clunky to start with, but picks up considerably in the second half (after a hilarious slapstick farce sequence at a beach house), largely thanks to Fox and Anwar's winning performances and courtship; it also revels in some pretty good designer porn complemented by glossy cinematography. Not especially memorable, and a strange project for Sonnenfeld to stuff between his ADDAMS FAMILY movies, but still pleasant and fairly easy to take.

Pure melty sop, but I kinda like it. Anwar is pretty damn bleh but the character is poorly written so not her fault probably, she was good in Ferrara's Body Snatchers. This movie was called The Concierge when I was a kid. FYVUSH FINKEL RIP

i enjoyed this movie, no matter how ridiculous the last 15 minutes are.

Michael J demonstrating that he had "throwdown" back in the 90s in a fun romp that pits his desire to get ahead in business and a potential love interest at odds. An uninteresting "villain" and too much time spent on side plots detract from a breezy movie about someone hustling to get the American Dream.
