Forbidden

Forbidden (1949 was Douglass Montgomery's final cinema feature, and he'd now aged to the point he was loosing his boyish charms, but there is still that oddness to his personality which doesn't quite seem believable. With that said, it's an interesting attempt in his filmography. Semi-noir format, bringing some excitement and interesting altercations. The women probable the main reason this film worked so well. Hazel Court stood out to me as a wonderful personality.
