Top badass moment? At last, finally, a movie that's grounded in reality. A decent kid tries his best to do the right things and ends up being shafted by the dysfunctional system, his selfish friends and his uncaring family. No happy ending. Despite it's more yukky parts they ought to show this film in schools, to prepare the next generation for the realities of life. (Bitter? Moi? Seriously, I'm just a pragmatist.) 3 decapitations (but you only actually see 2), no cats or chainsaws.

great idea, ok script, poor execution. this suffers heavily from the typical ultralow budget setbacks. therefore everything looks and feels ridiculously fake. maybe they should've put "splatter" aside and sticked to implications and off-screen violence altogether, because those scenes work a lot "better". in the right hands, this could've been a movie to disturb even the numbest of horror enthusiasts, although its questionable content would never allow for more than a straight-to-dvd b-movie.

Having wanted to see this for too long warped my enjoyment of it. The tone of the film is so odd that I'm not sure what it was getting after. Good, not great. Expected too much

This voyeuristic fright flick is made to look like the very low budget 80's horror movies its characters are obsessed with. I was spooked.

Intriguing - and potentially very disturbing - setup that's let down not so much by the painfully obvious low budget, as by its own hesitation to tackle the subject head-on. Slasher movie characterization doesn't quite gel with broody indie monologuing.
