Breezy musical that rarely seems to blow in the right direction. Ideas just didn't seem to work, and putting Anne Shirley in there with The Wizard of Oz Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) as a love-team wasn't exactly magical choice. Sure, there are some fun bit and the musical numbers wasn't bad.... but it mostly missed it's mark.
