Freaks Out

I guess "doing a Guillermo Del Toro" has become a thing now.

I wasn't expecting nothing in particular and that's exactly what I found. A good direction creates the foundations for a movie which doesn't shine for unpredictability and sometimes falls in some naive plot solutions. I haven't understood the target either: far too cruel for kids and a bit folksy for adults.

This is quite some movie. What if Alex de la Iglesia had made an Italian X-Men movie set during the end of WWII? I think it would so something like this ...
